11 ways to get out of a funk
We all fall on difficult times when we feel completely out of whack. A certain person or circumstance triggers our funky stuff to surface and our spiritual practice shoots out the window and we find ourselves at square one. From life experiences and lessons I’ve learned from my teachers, I’ve pulled together 11 ways to help get you out of a funk. You might already know this stuff, but sometimes a gentle reminder (or kick in the ass) is exactly what we all need.
1. See a challenge not a punishment. The Universe has a special plan just for you and a part of process is coming across challenging people and situations to help you evolve. The Universe doesn’t ever punish you, but it does put the best opportunity for growth in your path. When you see it as a challenge you can more easily choose not to suffer through the experience.
2. Focus on yourself. Don’t get wrapped up in changing or controlling other people, it’s a waste of energy. Focus on the lessons you need to learn.
